In nearly two decades working on the web, Stewart has had a distinguished career as a designer, entrepreneur, and technologist. Stewart Butterfield is the cofounder and CEO of Slack, the platform for team communication. Though Slack only launched in February 2014, it is already used daily by nearly 300,000 professional worldwide. Its customer list ranges from well-known startups like Buzzfeed, Rdio, Medium, Stripe and AirBnb to established giants like Adobe, Walmart, Comcast and PayPal.
