Rahul Panicker, Co-founder and President, Embrace Innovations
Rahul is the President and Co-founder of Embrace Innovations, a company that has developed and brought to market medical devices to help over 200,000 babies in rural areas of over 15 developing countries. Rahul's passion is driving innovation at the confluence of people and technology. He is a World Economic Forum Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2013, and winner of The Economist Innovation Award 2013. He is also an Echoing Green Fellow, Industrial Design Society of America Gold Award winner and a Tech Award laureate from the Tech Museum of Innovation, California. He holds an MS and PhD from Stanford University, where his thesis work was at the interface of artificial intelligence and optics, a B.Tech from IIT Madras, and is an alumnus of the d.school at Stanford. He is proud of the 100s of 1000s of babies Embrace has helped and of his Erdős number of 3.
