Luke Nosek, Founder & Partner, Founders Fund
Luke Nosek was a cofounder of PayPal. As VP of marketing and strategy, he oversaw marketing efforts at launch, growing the company’s user base to one million customers in the first six months. Luke also created “Instant Transfer,” PayPal’s most profitable product. Before coming to PayPal, Luke was an evangelist at Netscape. He has also cofounded two other consumer Internet companies, including the Web’s first advertising network, and was an active venture capitalist before launching Founders Fund. Luke received a BS in computer science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
