Michael Harries, Chief Technologist, Citrix Startup Accelerator
Michael Harries is the Chief Technologist for the Citrix Startup Accelerator and has served in the Citrix CTO Council, Labs and Technology Office for more than a decade. Harries applies more than twenty years of experience in enterprise technologies and market dynamics to identify and work closely with startups that bring new insights about emerging trends and market opportunities. He is focused on software-defined workplaces, enterprise infrastructure, machine learning, Internet of Things at work and trends in robotics to keep Citrix on the leading edge of innovation. Prior to joining Citrix, Harries held leadership and founder positions at several Australian tech startups. He has also been a management consultant and academic. Dr. Harries holds a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence from the University of New South Wales, and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Sydney, Australia. He and his family now reside in Northern California, which favorably compares to Australia's wines, but not its beaches.
