Yihui Zhang, Associate Professor, Tsinghua University
Yihui Zhang is an associate professor of engineering mechanics at Tsinghua University. His research interests include mechanically guided 3-D assembly, bio-inspired soft materials/structures, and stretchable electronics. He has published more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including multidisciplinary journals (Science, Cell, Nature Communications, Science Advances, PNAS) and journals in mechanics, materials, physics, and nanotechnology. His recent work has been reported widely in the media and highlighted by many professional organizations. His recent awards include MIT TR35 in 2016, Qiu Shi Outstanding Young Scholar Award in 2016, and Thousand Young Talents Plan of China in 2015.
